Hello and Welcome

This blog is for anyone who does not have time for much reading, but doesn't mind looking at a few pictures; let the pictures do most of the talking. The medium I use for my artwork is pastel. Whatever gifts God has given me, I hope to use it in a way to honor, glorify and worship Him.

My paintings are not duplicated or copied from the works of other artists or from any photos. I simply paint what comes to mind.
Even though my paintings are amateur, I still would like others not to make use of my pictures in any way without my permission.

The Rock

Who is perfect, true and righteous (Deuteronomy 32:4), who can set you high upon His rock (Psalms 27:5), from which stream of living water flows (Psalms 76:16, 105:41), a place for your refuge (Psalm 31:2), for your salvation, your defense (Psalm 62:2), the fortress who guides you (Psalms 31:3) and establishes your steps (Psalm 40:2) and on which no wind or flood can take you away (Matthew 7:25)? Hint: And the Lord said, "Here is a place by Me, and you shall stand on the rock (Exodus 33:21). For who is God, except the Lord? And who is a rock, except our God? (2 Samuel 22:32) It is on which Jesus said, He will build His church, and the gates of Hades shall not prevail against it (Matthew 16:18). The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted (Psalm 18:46). The Rock is Jesus.

    How right you are when you say..."The Rock is Jesus". What a wonderful truth... He is our firm foundation in the midst of a turbulent world!

    Thanks

  3. this reminds me of a beautiful passage in psalm 61
    'Hear my cry, O God;
    listen to my prayer.
    From the ends of the earth I call to you,
    I call as my heart grows faint;
    lead me to the rock that is higher than I"
    we all need a rock higher than us to cling to..
