Hello and Welcome
This blog is for anyone who does not have time for much reading, but doesn't mind looking at a few pictures; let the pictures do most of the talking. The medium I use for my artwork is pastel. Whatever gifts God has given me, I hope to use it in a way to honor, glorify and worship Him.
My paintings are not duplicated or copied from the works of other artists or from any photos. I simply paint what comes to mind. Even though my paintings are amateur, I still would like others not to make use of my pictures in any way without my permission.
Paul,
ReplyDeleteYou brought out a great point when you say that "faith without works is dead"... one of the outstanding characteristics of a person who has been graced of God is the desire to be used by Him and to serve Him.
If a person claims to be saved, and yet, does not want to use his talents for the Lord's glory, then there is a reason to question whether he is truly saved.
You are a living example of someone who has been graced by God and then you see the need to use your talents to honor the Lord. Thanks brother for the post and the example you set.
Rob
Hi brother Rob:
ReplyDeleteGreat to hear from you. I have been resting from blogging for awhile.
Yes, faith no doubts saves, but if Noah didn't use his God given talent to build the ark before the flood came, he would have perished along with others.
Blessings,
Paul
Gerat picture and great lesson. May we all be faithful to use the talents and gifts God has so richly given in this New Year!

I love this. I hope I am using my talents as He wants :) I know I write what I feel led to and I hope to keep plugging away and let Him take me where ever I am supposed to go with it. I know you are certainly using your talents for Him! My artistic son was super impressed with your drawings, as were the rest of the kids but good art work impacts him more. Thank you for sharing with the world the talent God put into your fingertips!
ReplyDeleteThanks Mel for your encouraging words and for sharing my blog with your son and other people.
ReplyDeleteWhat you have been writing is wonderful and it gets to the heart of the matter on subjects that people can relate to. I really enjoy reading them.
May God continue to richly bless you as you continue to walk with Him daily.
Paul
